-St. Elizabeth Lunchroom is looking for one more volunteer for Monday's from 10:50-12:00. If you are interested, please contact Martha Ellis at 625-3504.
-Come to the Holiday Cookie Walk at St. Elizabeth Church on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Sponsored by the Christ Child Society.
-Turkey Bingo is this Sunday, Nov. 23rd from 1-3 in the St. Elizabeth Cafeteria. Doors open at 12:30pm. Spirit Wear will be available for sale. Bingo cards are $.25 each and Jackpot 50/50 cards are $1.00. See you there!
-5th Annual Lutheran Art Show will take place from Nov. 29th to December 5th in the administration hallway between the main entrance and the ER. Every student will have their artwork represented. One student in each grade will be awarded a "best in show" certificate. Sponsored by HASA.
-A Science Fair is coming to SJSE. Any student in grades K-8 is eligible to sign-up and enter a project. Get your thinking caps on. Fair will be held on February 12th at each campus. More information to follow.
-The St. Elizabeth Giving Tree needs your help! Our tree is still full of tags! Please take a tag from the tree located in the gathering area and purchase the gift on the tag. Return all gifts and tags by Nov. 24th.
-Parish Rewards Needs You! The Parish Rewards Committee is looking for additional committee members. The committee needs people to help with accounting, marketing, finance, sales, and business contacts. The committee meets approx. once and month with additional responsibilities in the months of Feb., March and April. This is a great way to help your school. Last year, Parish Rewards gave $4,500 to SJSE school and helped to fund the new playground at St. E. For more information contact Angie Brown at 436-4902.
-Cookies for Christ is back! On Dec 2, 3 and 4 the 1st grade students will be selling cookies for $.25 each at both campuses during select times. At St. Joe, cookies will be sold during lunch from 11- 11:45. At St. Elizabeth, cookies will be sold to the preschool and Kindergarten classes from 9:45-11 and from 12:15-2 to grades 1-4. The money raised will benefit the Sunshine Club!
-You can lend a hand poster contest is underway. Prizes include gift certificates from Burger King and Chilis and a framed copy of your poster. Entries must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 26th. See the flyer in the Wed. Envelope for more details!
-Do you have winter coats at your house that don't fit anyone? Please consider donating any size used/new coats to Catholic Charities. Collection boxes will be at both campuses Nov. 12-Nov 30th. Coats will be given to the Burmese refugees brought in by Catholic Charities. Gloves, hats and mittens are also welcome. Any questions, contact Helen Nill at 436-7098 or Jan Moore at 489-9509.

-EXTRA FRIDAY STORE FOR SPIRIT WEAR! Spirit Wear will be available every Friday from 7:15am-8:00am where SCRIP is sold from now until Christmas Break. Great new items that make great gifts including long sleeved t-shirts, sweatshirts and embroidered wind pants! Spirit wear will also be sold at the Turkey Bingo on Sunday, Dec. 23rd!
-Parish Rewards is spotlighting Covington Commons. Covington Commons Senior Community will donate $1,000 for every new resident that moves in. Please contact Dick Hammon at 432-1932 for more information.
-On Friday, Nov. 21st at the All-School Mass, the Student Council is having a collection for the Vincent House. Please remember to bring your sacrificial giving to Mass on Friday.
-Advent Family Workshop on Sunday, Nov. 23rd in the Parish Hall after morning Masses 8:30am-1pm. Help your family prepare for Christmas and make or purchase an Advent Wreath, listen to stories of the season, buy advent calendars, etc. Proceeds go to the Youth Group Mission Trip and the Christ Child Society.
